A little bit about our history. On January 1st 2008, Southern Ontario Touch Football Officials Association (SOTFOA) was born. The group was born in an effort to promote the game of touch and flag football. Our goal is and has always been to provide value, honest and reliable service to our clients. We accomplish this through recruitment, retention and a review of good officiating practices.

Prior to 2008, Lakeshore Football Officials Association (LFOA) provided officials for flag and touch leagues in the Golden Horseshoe Area in Ontario. After a review by the LFOA executive and discussion with Touch Football Ontario (TFONT), the decision was to create a separate touch and flag league. This association helped develop and be active member of the Ontario Non Contact Football Officials Association (ONCFOA). 

Since 2008, we have provided officials for non-contact leagues across Southern Ontario ranging from Niagara Falls to Oshawa. We officiate both minor and youth leagues from elementary/primary and high schools as well as youth and adult (Mens/Female) leagues across Southern Ontario.

With the focus on recruitment, retention and respect SOTFOA will continue to provide the best service possible to our clients.

The current SOTFOA Executives include President/RIC, Treasurer, Systems Analyst (Web developer-Administrator), Assignor and two Directors At Large in charge of Recruitment and Mentorship.
